Split the causes into what you can influence and what you cannot, and the whole subject gets simpler.
This is the page the rest of the site rests on. Skin changes for several reasons at once, and they are not equally within reach. Sorting them honestly is more useful than any menu, because it tells you where effort is worth spending and where it is not.
Some change happens simply because time passes. Skin structure and the tissue underneath it change, and inherited factors shape how and when that shows on a particular face. None of this is a moral matter and none of it is available for purchase back. Any language suggesting otherwise — reversal, restoration, turning anything back — is marketing, not description.
Ultraviolet exposure is the dominant modifiable driver of visible skin change. That is why it gets its own page here and why it comes before everything else. It also accumulates invisibly, from ordinary days rather than memorable ones, which is exactly why it is easy to discount.
Smoking, sleep, what you eat, how much you drink and how you handle your skin day to day all sit in the influenceable column. None of them individually rivals sun exposure, and pretending any one of them is a lever with dramatic reach would be the same overpromising this site is trying to help you spot.
Once you have sorted causes this way, most advertising becomes easier to read. A claim addressed at the unchangeable column is making a promise nobody can keep. A claim addressed at the influenceable column is at least pointed at something real, and you can then ask the ordinary questions about how much, at what cost, and for how long.
